As a current ULS user, writing an IEP with Polaris is quick and easy, especially when you have already used ULS Profiles and Benchmarks to assess your student!
Follow these 5 steps to automatically create a draft Present Level of Performance and receive automatic goal suggestions that will ensure a great start to a compliant and data-driven IEP in 5 minutes or less!
- Start a Roadmap: When you navigate to Polaris from the Menu or home page, select your student and click the Start Roadmap button.
- Enter IEP Dates and Areas of Focus: Add projected IEP dates and any identified areas of need for your student. Click the Start button.
- Add ULS Profile to Roadmap: From the Profiles and Surveys Suggestions tab, select the completed K-12 Student Profile to Roadmap and then select Use Current Version of Profile.
- Add n2y Benchmarks to Roadmap: From the Assessments Suggestions tab, add any previously given benchmarks to Roadmap and then select Use Current Version of Assessment.
- Review your Present Level of Performance and Goal Suggestions and customize as needed before copying directly into your IEP management system.
