Can I Add an Existing IEP to Polaris?

Yes! Service providers can add an existing IEP that was written in another solution into Polaris. They can begin progress monitoring on current IEPs right away! 

1. Select Roadmaps from the Polaris menu.
   
2. Locate the desired student.
3. Select “Start IEP.”
   
4. Select “Enter existing IEP goals.”
   1. Pro Tip: If the IEP is due within 60 days, plan a new IEP to get started on planning the upcoming IEP.
      
5. Enter the IEP dates.
6. Select the area of focus for the goal. 
7. Copy and paste the goal statement from the existing IEP.
8. Enter the Tracking Criteria for Target and Mastery.
9. Select “Add standard” to align to standards if desired.
10. Add objectives if needed.
11. Select “Add Another Goal” to add more goals as needed. 
12. Complete the IEP.
