Domain Level Security is a verification that your organization owns the URL domain.
Once established, the designated Domain Level Security member of your team can modify security preferences and requirement for users associated with your domain, such as:
- Allowing or restricting methods for staff and/or student login
- Pro Tip: In addition to any SSO login methods chosen, we strongly recommend allowing students the option to sign in through n2y’s provided methods (such as a classroom code or QR Badge), as our solutions are designed to meet our students' varying levels of independence and accessibility needs.
- Require specific password features (e.g. special characters, numbers, etc.)
- Require a specific email domain for staff or students
- Require a minimum or maximum student ID length
The user with Domain Level Security can take steps to clean up user data by checking staff and student rosters against the requirements outlined. This provides visibility into which staff/student accounts need to be edited in order meet the outlined requirements.
