n2y provides home access through the student login. Service providers (teacher, SLP, OT etc.) may provide login information and/or distribute materials to parents through their own preferred methods.
Letters to parents and family, who may provide a supporting role in assisting with student login at home, are provided in a PDF format below. Please select the letter appropriate for the login type assigned to each unique learner. A copy of the introduction has been included in Spanish. Please provide this in addition to the letter appropriate for the login type assigned when applicable. In order to maintain alignment with varying policies across service providers, n2y will direct parents back to their service provider as needed.
As the service provider, you are responsible for enabling and supporting the student login option or otherwise distributing materials as you see fit. While n2y provides directions and recommendations for each lesson, as the service provider who works directly with the unique learner, you are best suited to provide, recommend, or suggest materials and modifications to parents.
n2y recommends coordinating with your employer and IT team to determine the resources and policies in place to support you in determining the best distribution method(s). Considerations should be taken to develop a support system to help parents meet n2y’s full system requirements if student login at home is expected.
Please note that the simplified password login option requires a classroom link that will display the names of all of the students in your classroom. If this violates your data privacy policy, n2y recommends selecting a different login option. Service providers should never provide their login information to parents or students. If the service provider is unable to create a classroom link by logging in to the device directly then another secure method will be provided.
