How Do I Assign Benchmark Assessments in Student View?

The new and improved Benchmark assessments can be assigned to Student View from the Students page or from the n2y GPS. 

From the Students Page:

1. Navigate to Students under My Account
   
   
2. Select Add Assignment(s) in the upper right corner of the page.
   
   
3. Select Benchmark Assessments from the drop-down menu.
   
   
4. Select the Add button next to the desired assessment(s).
   • Pro Tip: Use the filters at the top to narrow your results.
5. Select Next.
6. Select the desired students or the whole classroom in the Assign To section.
7. Scroll below the list of students to set the desired start and end dates.
   • Pro Tip: The end date is optional and leaving it blank will allow for the assessment to remain assigned until completed.
8. Select the Format if applicable.
9. Select the Assign as Homework toggle if desired.
10. Select the Add button and Close. 
    
    

From the n2y GPS:

1. Navigate to the n2y GPS from the Unique Learning System menu.
   
   
2. Select the desired student.
   
   
3. Select Benchmarks.
   
   
4. Locate the desired Assessment
   • Pro Tip: Use the Skill Category and Skill Drop down menus to filter the available Benchmarks.
     
     
5. Select the Assign button on the right.
   
   
6. Select the desired students or use Select All in the Assign To section.
7. Set the desired start and end dates.
   • Pro Tip: The end date is optional and leaving it blank will allow for the assessment to remain assigned until completed.
8. Select the Format, if applicable.

9. Select the Assign as Homework toggle if desired.
10. Select Save and Close.
