The Marker Tool enables iDoc users to draw on top of content in the iDoc. Options include the ability to mark up in black, red, or blue ink, highlight in orange ink, and an Eraser Tool that applies to the ink only.
The Marker Tool is available for both service providers and students for any iDoc content designed to be displayed to students.
This includes:
- Unique Learning System Unit Lessons and Activities in Student View.
- Unique Learning System Activities launched from the Teacher Dashboard.
- News2you iDocs for Current Events articles, weekly activities, and holidays.
For service providers, changes made from this area of the site will be lost once the document is closed.
For students accessing via Student View for Unique Learning System, changes made with the Marker Tool will be saved for an attempt, but will only be visible while the tool is open. Once a new attempt of that activity is available, the ink will be cleared. Please note that the ink is not recorded as part of Student Daily Performance.
Service providers who desire a record of their students’ responses, including ink layers, should print a copy. An option to print the ink layer is included.
