Our case studies show that strong district management of n2y solutions leads to improved outcomes and continued student growth. Implementation is most successful when district leadership is involved in establishing the goals and plans for implementation throughout their classrooms.
Review our Recommended Implementation Plan and complete the Assessment Schedule inside. These documents will help you outline the fundamental steps to kick off implementation. Administrators will also want to develop a plan for routine items service providers perform on a regular basis.
Consider creating policies for the following:
Create an add/drop day either at the beginning or end of the year for your service providers to drop students who are moving onto another grade level and pick up students who are coming into their classroom. Be sure to define if Teachers should create new students of if Leadership will be adding them via the Bulk Import Student tool to prevent duplicates.
Each student should have a new updated Profile for the start of the year. Give your service providers a date to have these completed.
- Pro Tip: In Unique Learning System, a Profile must be completed in order for Student View to be accessible. If a new profile is in progress the student won't be able to log in until it is completed.
Each student should complete the pre- and post-assessment(s) of skills presented in each monthly unit. The Checkpoints should be selected for each student based on the differentiated level as determined by their Profile.
Have each service provider select the Benchmark Assessments that will be performed 2-4 times/year on each student. The assessments should be selected according to each student's current abilities and needs.
