The content within the Unique Learning System is reduced in depth and breadth to accommodate unique learners. Service providers should select the grade band that addresses each unique learner’s assigned grade level. This will ensure that Lesson Reports accurately reflect the standards addressed for that grade.
The Unique Learning System grade bands are:
- Elementary (K-2)
- Intermediate (3-5)
- Middle School (6-8)
- High School (9-12)
- Transition (12 +)
How to Select Assigned Grade Level:
- Sign in to n2y.com.
- Navigate to the My Students section under the My Account menu.
- Select the name of the desired student.
- Scroll the pencil icon to edit.
- Select the appropriate grade from the Assigned Grade Level drop-down menu.
- Select Save Changes.
You are able to select an assigned grade level outside the student’s grade band. This student will be able to access Unique Learning System materials within your grade band, but state standards will not automatically be displayed with lesson performance data or on reports. Documentation of standards outside of the current grade band can be done manually using the Observational Notes area of Daily Scores and Observations. Show me how.
