For the most accurate standards reporting and compliance, we recommend that students are placed in the grade band that matches their assigned grade level. In situations where service providers have a multi-grade classroom (e.g. K-6) and can select only one grade band, we recommend selecting the grade band that addresses the majority of the student's assigned grade levels. There is adequate overlap between the grade band levels to cover the differences.
When a student is assigned a grade level outside of your grade band, you may choose to manually track the standards that are addressed through Unique Learning System lessons and activities.
How To Manually Track Standards:
- From the Unique Learning System Teacher Dashboard (Home -Teacher Dashboard) Select the Daily Scores & Observations button.
- Select the desired student and the desired monthly unit, Science & Social Studies Course, or Inspire Classics tab.
- Select the desired lesson.
- Lessons that have a record of unique learner responses for the selected monthly unit will be indicated by the text “has records” in blue in the right-hand column.
